- Investigated model collapse in multi-modal medical generative models through large-scale experiments on MIMIC-CXR and MIMIC-IV.
- Designed evaluation pipelines diagnosing clinical knowledge loss, vocabulary drift, and reduced image diversity across synthetic iterations.
- Proposed mitigation strategies (real/synthetic mixing, bias-aware sampling, feature-space regularization) that preserved disease diversity and text–image coherence.

OptiMA: Multi-Agent Control for Optical Networks
Collaborative Multi-Agent Framework for Modelling and Controlling Raman Amplifiers

- Led development of OptiMA, a multi-agent LLM framework for intelligent optical networks; validated on a C+L band Raman amplifier testbed.
- Proposed chain-of-thought prompting for bilevel hyperparameter optimization (~50% faster convergence, lower RMSE).
- LLM-enhanced Bayesian optimization achieving 0.135 dB on-off gain RMSE (vs. 0.191 dB traditional BO).
